ILILIPAT na pala ng Thursday timeslot ang Family Zoo nina Ara Mina and Benjie Paras sa QTV.

Magwa-one season na ang sitcom nina Ara and Benjie with Jana Roxas and partner and its doing good in its Tuesday timeslot at 8:30 before Project 11. It has a cute gimmick na ang mga ha-yop na inaalagaan ni Benjie as the animal wrangler, nagsasalita.

And they’re not just voice talents ha, mga sikat na artista sila. Si Jolina Magdangal ang nag voice noon sa iguana at si Manay Lolit Solis naman sa ostrich.

Anyways, dahil wala kami sa press con ng isang magbubukas na show this week, QTV’s Na Scam Ka Na Ba, hindi namin alam kung ito ang ipapalit sa Tuesday timeslot ng Fa-mily Zoo o yung isa pang pang magbubukas na bagong show ng sister station ng GMA, ang Posh, na co-produced ng Viva TV starring a pair of StarStruck, Gian Carlo and Iwa Moto and two new pairs of Viva TV talents.

Ang Family Zoo naman ang papalit sa iniwang timeslot ng O Mare Ko.

Effective ang move this week kaya those waiting for Family Zoo tonight, Thursday na kayo maghintay.

These campus cuties will be your newest block mates every SATURDAY, 5 p.m. over at QTV CHANNEL 11, as they banner two different groups you'll either grow fond of, or eventually hate.

The "ka-POSH" bunch is led by the poor but proud IWA , who is out to prove that she can be somebody someday no matter what her present status in life may be. There's the pretty probinsyana NIKKI , whose talent simply outshines anyone else on campus. GIAN is the group's bookworm, touted to be the Einstein of Generation X. And the resident boy-next-door of the group, VIVO , is dubbed the Cutie Clown ng Bayan.

What they lack in the financial department, they more than make up for in hard work, brains, talent and ambition.

And then theres the POSH group the rich, popular and sophisticated clique led by PRINCESS, the chic fashionista who thinks that going to school is one big party. Joining her are pretty and outgoing HAYCA and the almost famous VANESS, whose dream is to become the most popular girl in school. The barkadas Mr. Nice Guy is PJ, who grew up in the States but is very Pinoy at heart.

They will be joined by an exciting bunch of teens like ASHLEY, the groups Miss Congeniality. Shes every girls loyal friend and every boys ideal girl. The daredevil IVAN whose life is fueled by the need for speed and the sentimental varsity player MIGUEL, a sporty Beethoven in the offing.

Also be taken by the silent and shy JOAQUIN , who will prove that first impressions dont last; and the flirty RHEA , allegedly the number one chikadora.
These teens will be the freshest faces at your favorite Saturday hangout nook QTV CHANNEL 11. They will be your newest buddies as you start school. Their adventures will be yours as well, and it wont be avoided that you take sides hating one and loving the other.

POSH is a co-production between QTV Channel 11 and Viva Television. A Viva Entertainment Company, Viva TV pioneered the youth melodrama on local television in collaboration with GMA-7 with the cult favorite TGIS that was later followed by Annakarenina. These were just two of the shows in the long successful history of the Viva-GMA 7 partnership.

Together they enjoyed many years of success with the sitcom Ober Da Bakod, Villa Quintana, Growing Up, etc. Their most recent co-production is the talent show Search for A Star, hosted by, Regine Velasquez.

Iwa is feeling anxious about her first day of school at the exclusive university and no amount of convincing from Vivo and Gian that everything will be alright is enough to soothe her nerves. She hates rich people and she dreads the thought of a whole campus filled with them. They arrive at the school and they feel terribly out of place. To make things worse, she has a run-in with the most popular clique in the school, Princess and friends. They try to put her in her place but not one to be put down, Iwa fights back, to the surprise of the group.

After school, Iwa goes to work as a barista in the coffee shop which she finds out is the favorite after-school tambayan of Princess’s group. Princess and Hayca, happy at this new turn of events, boss her around and treat her like a slave. Iwa “accidentally” spills coffee at Hayca to get back at her, making her Hayca’s official sworn enemy. Iwa is reprimanded for what happened by the manager of the shop, Patrick, who says he is willing to forget everything if she goes out with him. Iwa gives him the brush off. Gian sees and asks Iwa if Patrick is bothering her. Iwa just laughs and asks Gian what he’s going to do about it. Gian feels hurt. It is revealed here that despite their “away-bati”, he has feelings for Iwa.

Meanwhile, Nikki is excited about her first day of school. She feels that this will be the beginning of something new for her and is excited at the prospect of meeting new friends.
She finds one in Princess and she takes her in to be part of her clique. Nikki catches the attention of PJ, Princess’ cousin who Vaness has the hots for. This angers Vaness who devices a scheme so that Nikki will fall out of grace with Princess. She steals Princess’ necklace during a party at Princess’ house and she lets Nikki take the blame. Iwa comes to Nikki’s defense, having seen Vaness give the necklace to Nikki. Iwa and Princess get into a scuffle which ends up with Princess being embarrassed.

After the event, Iwa is part of the clean-up crew. Patrick tries to make advances on her. Gian sees but before he could do anything, Ivan comes in and saves Iwa making Iwa think that maybe she was wrong to make generalizations about the rich because there as some, like Ivan, who are okay.

Next day at school, Iwa sees Nikki with her things. She says who was she kidding when she thought she could make it there. She is going back to the province where she belongs. Iwa says if she does that then Princess and her group will have won. She convinces Nikki to stay. Nikki says they already gave her dorm room to someone else. Iwa says she can stay with her. There’s an extra bed in her room. Nikki accepts. A friendship is formed. And they live to fight another day.

Of Mothers and Swimming Pools

Nikki moves in with Iwa. Iwa witnesses Nikki’s unusually close relationship with her mom which brings up Iwa’s own issues with her own mom whom she does not even know because she was abandoned as an infant.

Nikki meets Vivo, the son of their landlady and he develops a crush on her. PJ, however, continues his pursuit of Nikki and he finds Vivo mildly annoying as he always gets in the way.

In school, Nikki and Iwa have another run-in with the popular girls, this time in swimming class. When the teacher announces that she will give a chance for students in her class and get an instant “A” and be exempt from attending the rest of the classes if they join the pool tryouts. Nikki and Iwa gamely try out. Iwa, not being an experienced swimmer, gets cramps in the middle of the tryouts and ends up being given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation by Ivan, which intensifies the feud between Hayca and Iwa. Gian tries to save Iwa too but almost drowns in the process.

Iwa loses her job in the coffeeshop because of Patrick, the manager, but Gian finds a way of getting it back for her which shows Iwa that he’s not really a bad guy.

“Mixed signals”

Nikki has a list of qualities that she likes in guy which she tries to find in PJ.
She starts getting disappointed when it seems like he doesn’t possess any of the qualities that she is looking for in her ideal guy.


PJ, on the other hand, is problematic because Princess set him up on a date with Vaness on the same day that he has a date with Nikki.
He doesn’t know how to get out of it and he couldn’t tell Nikki either so he decides to cut his date with Nikki short so he can make it to his date with Vaness.


Fate intervenes somehow when a sudden downpour makes PJ unable to leave Nikki and Nikki finally discovers that sometimes it’s not about looking for something that you cannot find but finding out that what you have is exactly what you’re looking for.


Iwa starts being nice to Gian because of what he did for her in the previous episode. Gian, upon Vivo’s encouragement, misinterprets this and thinks that Iwa actually likes him. Add to that, Gian gets a text message which makes him believe that Iwa does indeed like him which gives him the courage to kiss her, only to find out that the message wasn’t meant for him! This gets him beaten up by Iwa as a result.
